Meow Creations

I remember back then when my bestie, Kat taught me the basics of crochet. It was a process -a very convoluted process. I didn't get the hang of it  and decided to leave all the knots and loops to her.

Starting with just making crocheted headphone covers to smartphone pouches for friends, Kat's crochet thing grew. A lot. So, just this year, she decided to make her crochet game into a micro business. Thus, Meow Creations was created.

Having no idea as how knots and loops work, I couldn't help her with the loads of orders needed to be made for her newly found customers. But having an eye for design and photography (humbled), I offered to give her dainty little crochet bows their deserved photo shoot. (And I also design her logo *giggles*)

December 27, 2014- After finishing twenty bows, the photo shoot was planned. It wasn't difficult taking photos of these tiny darlings. They were all photogenic. Take a look:

It was a fun shoot not only because of the colors poppin' but also because it was for my bestie.

It's that time of the year again.

Christmas doesn't have to be red and green. It doesn't have to be all about snow either. Just have fun with the colors and give the Yuletide Season a pop of cray!

this one's for Jeff & Sarah

They say, “Enjoy the littlest of things.” But what about the big ones? Are they allowing us to forget about them? Well, I am not. That is why I gave you this as a gift. By the way, congratulations to you Cuz and to you my new Cuzen-in-Law.

There will be a tad bit of pressure tied to this gift because things need to be accomplished.

Instruction:

Every country/city you visit around the world based on the map mark it with a *blue pin.

**No need to worry about the first place you went together as a married couple because I already marked it for both of you.

The map fits perfectly in an area or room where both of you hang out together like your office or room. That way, you get to see it and remember the places and experiences – especially when it is almost full of blue pins.

Yeah, total pressure. Pressure in a way that it feels like you need to travel just to fill in the map with blue pins. But remember, I did not give you this because of the the common saying “Explore and see the world.”

I gave you this because I want the world to see Jeff and Sarah. I love you both.

PS. plane tickets not included.

Enjoy.

“The World According to Jeff & Sarah”

*blue pins are found behind the canvas :)
**nakalimot kog butang ug pin sa Samal area sa mapa hahah nabalot na nko then saka pa nako na realize lol, kamo na lang pin ato hahah love you both

Behind the project:

Without her, this gift will just be my imagination and just a plain idea. hehe So, thanks to Moira for making this possible.

I glued pins and beads :) And made the tissue pompom for the gift top.

A Glass of Tea --lights

I have glasses collecting dust over the shelves. Never been used because they're too beautiful to be held by clumsy hands like my brothers and sisters.

Same thing going on with you? Well, why not repurpose these glasses to tealight containers.

This is a simple DIY project. Place tealight in the glass. You can even add a bit of water so the tealights float. And you are done! No mess, no trouble. Just dainty lighting.

By the way, don't forget, we are dealing with fire here. Never leave them unattended even if the glasses contain water. Better safe than sorry.

Then, enjoy.

Cookie Gulp

Got boxes of Speculoos Cookies and jars of Cookie Butter?

Why not whip up something quite different but familiar. Speculoos Cookies and Cookie Butter smoothie.

  Here's how:

1 cup of crushed Speculoos cookie butter

1 cup of milk (of any kind)
1/2 cup of condensed milk
1 cup Speculoos cookie butter
lastly, lotsa ice :)

Blend the ingredients together until smooth. Then bam!

This might be too sweet for some so you might want to adjust the recipe according to your taste.

That's the good thing about this drink. Just explore. But never forget to focus on the main ingredient -the cookies and that awesome cookie butter. Enjoy.
