The TUMBLR Effect

Who said Christmas lights were just for ... Christmas? If you've got a tumblr account, well you get what I mean.

Platform bed, striped sheets and accent pillows. Bed-side desk w/ rice bulb lights as lamp.

Never be afraid of playing with the seasonal decorations as long as it fits the layout. But if you're still living with mom , you might want her to know before you plug-in the winter wonderland deco. 

[PHOTO] The white rice bulb lights add a halcyon atmosphere to the room.

Accent with vibrant colors and patters. But not to much. You don't want to strain your eyes with a lot of things going on. A little animal print, circles and stripes would do the trick.

Bamboo twigs and the white lights give an outdoor feel which adds to the bucolic feel of the room.

Notice the wall color and the orange and green border. With the border colors, the dull Cameron Blue wall becomes less dense. 

A pop of color wouldn't hurt.

Tip: No paint? Neon stickers and boards are a big help for a boarder.
